Recently, upon receiving notification from the IRF Global, and recommended by the China Society of Road Engineering, the project led by Professor Zhao Xiangmo's team from our school, along with relevant researchers from AVIC Electronic Measurement Instruments (Xi'an) Co., Ltd., China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd., and Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, has been awarded the Global Road Achievement Award (GRAA).
Project Name: Autonomous Driving Vehicle In-Vehicle Test Equipment and Application Based on Digital Twin Technology.

The project has obtained 5 US patents, 17 Chinese patents and 21 software copyrights. It has published 16 academic papers indexed by SCI/EI. The project's achievements have enabled 12 types of autonomous driving vehicles to be verified by several leading domestic enterprises; and it has been deployed and applied in the closed-site testing base recognized by the Ministry of Transport for autonomous driving, with a cumulative equivalent road test duration of over 120,000 hours. It has achieved good social and economic benefits. This project has led the transformation of autonomous driving testing technology through testing to promote research, and will strongly promote the large-scale application process of high-level autonomous driving technology, thereby promoting the development of related industrial clusters worth tens of billions in the future.
