The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for ideological education, political education and daily management of college students. In other words, this office is fully responsible for the management of student education. The office is supervised by the department of student affairs and the deputy secretary of the school who is in charge of student affairs.

The specific scopes of official duties are as follows:
1. To draw up annual plan for college students; revise and improve regulations for student management, and check.
2. To acknowledge and master students' daily dynamics in time, conduct activities for ideological and political education, situation and policy education, safety and discipline education and civilized cultivation education, etc.; organize and carry out various thematic education practices.
3. Developing Party building actions among students, to give student party organization a full play to be pioneers and models.
4. To organize and plan actions for the Communist Youth League, like campus culture, subject competition, scientific and technological innovation, social practice and youth volunteers.
5. To be responsible for students' daily education and management services,launch scholarship evaluation work, as well as education work for students who violate discipline, and deal with emergencies.
6. To be responsible for college student aids; investigate, identify and guide students with financial difficulties and its declaration; organize declaration, evaluation and distribution of various awards and subsidies.
7. To be responsible for guiding students' career planning, employment and entrepreneurship; to strengthen communication work and construction of employment internship base; to be responsible for student works such as job-seeking guidance, employment recommendation, employment rate statistics and follow-up survey of graduates.
8. To be responsible for students' mental health; regularly organize mental health education and counsel; help and report of students with mental disorders.
9. To be responsible for entrance, military training and national defense education of freshmen; responsible for recruitment of college students.
10. Strengthening the construction of college student cadres and guide the construction of student organizations such as League Committees, student unions and student associations.
11. To complete the other tasks assigned from upper leaders of the school.
